Hello everyone, James Barnett here, the creator and producer of the Night’s End podcast. Just a couple of things before we start this mammoth episode.
We are now open for Halloween submissions on the Night’s End website, www.nightsendpodcast.com. We won’t be accepting as many as last year so the competition will be stiff. So, if you currently have or intend on writing a Halloween tale that you would like to hear in an audio format, send them on through before the closing date of the 29th of August. We look forward to reading your submissions.
Now, we have a top-secret project that we are working on that will be dubbed “secret project”, yeah, imaginative, I know. If you are a writer that is a fan of Gothic Horror and classic ghost stories, your favourite writers are M.R. James, Shirley Jackson & Henry James, amongst many more, and you write stories in this style, then we want you! Head on over to www.nightsendpodcast.com to submit to the “secret project”.
Lastly, before we begin, a content warning for the upcoming story, The Xomog Effect. This story contains content that may be unsuitable to some listeners. Such as self-harm, PTSD, physical assault, murder, and mental illness.
