She Said Her Name Was Spookie was written by Heinrich von Wolfcastle and was previously published in 2018 in his collection of short stories called Screams Before Dawn. Heinrich von Wolfcastle is an affiliate member of the Horror Writers Association and a member of the Great Lakes Association of Horror Writers. His work has appeared in multiple anthologies and magazines. Most recently, you can hear his stories “Marvin’s Tavern” and "Things in the Attic" presented on the Scare You to Sleep podcast. Though he lives the life of a recluse, he has been known to emerge from the shadows for Trick-or-Treaters on Halloween night.
